云南空港物流有限公司创建于2002年6月，其控股公司为云南空港投资管理有限公司，公司地址位于昆明巫家坝国际机场。
    公司以航空运输为支架，经营民用航空国际、国内货运代理以及货物的收验、仓储、搬运、装卸、检选、包装、配送、信息处理、航空地面运输服务，并受理各种陆路、水路运输业务，同时，公司正朝着集团化经营的发展方向逐步迈进。
    公司现场安装了“大通关”手触式查询系统、各式电脑、SITA报、安检机、货物传输机、电子秤、现代化仓库监控管理系统等，办公采用网络化操作管理(域名为www.kgwl.com),具备航空国际国内进、出港的货物操作条件。
    2004年8月，云南空港物流有限公司并购原云南空港配送有限公司。目前，公司拥有职工数百人，现有营业、办公、仓库使用面积近10000平方米，拥有进港、出港仓库、大型货架、冷藏室以及在仓库、机坪使用的各式合力牵引车、货物传输车、机动叉车、拖头车、摆渡车等车数十辆，配有作为货物运输的欧曼重卡和东风小卡十多辆。
    公司承接了除东航云南分公司以外昆明机场的所有外航航空公司的货邮、运输地面保障业务，正常情况下每日进出港货物保障能力近1000吨。
